Dr. Mary-Ann Wolf provides dentistry from a child’s perspective, putting children and their parents at ease, taking the fear out of dental visits. Dr. Wolf communicates with children on their level, but always fully explain diagnoses and treatment options to parents.
Using the Tell-Show-Do method, a familiarization technique in which the child is told what the dentist is going to do in non-threatening terms, using words at the child’s level. Dr. Wolf then shows the child what she is going and when the child is ready, proceeds.
Dr. Wolf builds trust through honesty with her pediatric patients, delivering comprehensive pediatric dentistry with a gentle touch – providing an environment in which your child can develop a positive attitude toward dentistry and keep a happy and healthy smile.
Your child will love our kid-friendly environment, from our waiting room to the treatment rooms. We encourage children to ask questions, and most importantly feel comfortable being in our dental office and with us.
Regular visits are valuable, even if your child has never had a cavity. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that most children see a pediatric dentist at least twice a year for a check-up.
Professional cleanings remove plaque and debris that can build up on teeth and lead to cavities and gum irritation. Dr. Wolf monitor’s your child’s dental health, regular visits allow us to track growth and development, assess fluoride exposure and recommend sealant placements at the proper time.
